One of the number one reasons people have for not eating healthy foods or exercising is lack of time. This can lead to eating unhealthy fast foods, which can lead to weight gain and over time can lead to larger health issues. But having a busy schedule is not an excuse to have unhealthy habits. There are so many ways you can make time to be healthy. Here are a few tips that you can incorporate into your daily routine which will help to save time and allow you to have healthier habits.
Meal prepping is a wonderful time saver. Pre-making salads for lunch is my go to for my lunch meals. I bake chicken breasts and add it to mixed greens like kale, spinach or arugula. Keeping your dressing on the side will keep the greens from getting soggy. You can also add other veggies or legumes to your salads. I love adding avocados to my salads but just remember they will turn brown so don’t cut them until you are ready to eat them. If you want to lose weight you can also ditch the salad dressing and squeeze some lemon juice for flavor. If you have trouble making time for exercise and can’t make it to the gym try walking on your lunch break or using the stairs instead of the elevator. If you work on the 15th floor of your office building it's a great way to get in some cardio. There are also great online workouts you can do that only require 15-30 minutes of your time. Weight Loss is never easy especially if you are strapped on time but if you get creative you can start a healthier lifestyle.
